Prague Metro and Tram Map is a free and offline tool that provides a comprehensive overview of Prague's public transportation system, catering specifically to the needs of tourists and visitors.

The Prague Metro constitutes the underground public transport network in Prague, Czech Republic. It stands out as one of the most efficient modes of traveling within the city, accommodating approximately one and a half million passengers daily. This places it as the seventh busiest metro system in Europe and the most frequented worldwide on a per capita basis.

The Prague Metro's infrastructure comprises three distinguishable lines, each visually identified by its unique color scheme on maps and station signs: Line A (green), Line B (yellow), and Line C (red). With a total of 57 stations, including three crucial transfer points, the system is interconnected by nearly 60 kilometres of predominantly underground railways. Operating hours span from 4-5 am until midnight from Sunday to Thursday, with extended service on Fridays and Saturdays where the final train departures commence at 1 am. During peak hours, trains arrive at intervals averaging two to three minutes. Annually, over 500 million passengers utilize the Prague Metro.

Operationally managed by the Prague Public Transit Company Co. Inc. (known officially in Czech as Dopravní podnik hlavního města Prahy a.s.), the system oversees all public transport modes within the city, including trams, buses, the funicular to Petřín Hill, and the chairlift within Prague Zoo. Since 1993, this network has been seamlessly integrated with regional train services and buses along with facilitating access to "park-and-ride" facilities. Collectively known as Prague Integrated Transport (Pražská integrovaná doprava—PID), this comprehensive system offers zonally priced services, with the metro confined entirely within the central zone.

It is worth noting that many Prague Metro stations exhibit considerable size, with multiple entrances situated at notable distances from each other. This layout can potentially confound visitors, particularly at central junctures like Můstek or Muzeum: stepping off at the correct station is only half the battle; selecting the appropriate exit leading to the surface becomes paramount to avoid finding oneself several minutes away from the desired destination. Nevertheless, stations are generally well-marked for ease of navigation, accommodating even non-native speakers.
